Get to know my Donnie
His name
The cattery where Donnie came from had already named him "Donny". I just chose to write it differently because it was inspired by an actor from Band of Brothers.
Just here with us
Donnie came in as a scared little boy. I kept him separate for a while so he could get used to me first before I slowly introduced him to the Ragdolls.
Facts of Donnie
- He often sits outside
- He likes to sleep in the attic
- Plays a lot with his (colorful) mouse
- Likes to lie on the grass
With new people, Donnie always has to watch the cat from the tree first and then quickly shoots upstairs when the doorbell rings. Once he is used to you, and that can take a few minutes to a few days, he will come and lie down with you to cuddle. Donnie often lies on my lap and then falls asleep quietly, but he really only does this when he wants to. Donnie is often outside and then also very often sleeps in the grass or on the scratching post that is outside. If he cannot be found outside, he lies in the attic.
