General Information
The Ragdoll Blue Point Mitted is just as loved as its Bicollor counterpart, but has its own unique look and charm. This variant of the Ragdoll is known for its "gloves" and striking blue markings.
Appearance
The Blue Point Mitted Ragdoll has a silky coat with blue (gray) points on the ears, tail, paws, and face. The most distinguishing feature of the Mitted variety is its white-colored paws, as if wearing white gloves and socks, and a white chin and belly. Their bright blue eyes form a beautiful contrast with their coat color.
Size and Weight
Like other Ragdolls, Blue Point Mitted cats are large and robust. Male Ragdolls weigh between 5.4 and 9.1 kg, while female Ragdolls weigh between 3.6 and 6.8 kg. They are the same size as their Bicollor counterparts and can reach a length of 43 to 53 cm (without tail).
Character
Ragdoll Blue Point Mitted cats are loving, gentle and enjoy human company. They are very loyal and often follow their owners around the house. They know their name and often come to you when you call them. These cats are known for their patience and tolerance, making them ideal pets for families with children or other pets.
Naming
The name "Ragdoll" again refers to their characteristic posture of relaxing and going limp when picked up. "Blue Point" refers to the blue color of their points (ears, paws, tail and face), and "Mitted" describes the white color on their feet, as if they were wearing little mittens.
